Aspen Roots Shawl

Elegant. Cozy. Worsted Weight.

Pattern Information

Aspen trees are a symbol of adaptation and resilience. In an ecosystem where mostly evergreen trees thrive, aspens developed traits that aid in their survival. With leaves that reduce wind damage to the trunk, to photosynthetic bark, and growing in groves with highly interconnected root systems, this tree is a symbol of grit.

Weaving, twisted cables support lacy leaves in this large, cozy shawl. The shawl serves as a reminder to stay in touch with your heritage and to foster connection, growing a support system around you.
